CWS Designation Certified Wealth Strategist® Designation
.
While some advisors view NGU as a one-time educational experience, still others elect to engage in a longer-term wealth management program offered by Cannon Financial Institute that leads to the Certified Wealth Strategist® or CWS® designation.

The Cannon Certified Wealth Strategist® program is tailored to complement our business development platform and is designed to provide you with an additional level of knowledge to both competently and confidently serve clients. Cannon delivers strategies that are focused, relevant, and invaluable for growing your business. Many First Allied advisors who have attended past sessions have seen dramatic results and improved productivity.

Best of all, CWS® tuition is free to First Allied advisors and you don’t have to make an enrollment decision until after you’ve attended NGU. For advisors who choose to pursue CWS® designation, the program requires attendance at a second training event, more than 100 hours of self-study, a related project and a fully reimbursable $1,600 deposit. Not everyone who attends NGU pursues the CWS® designation. Those who do wish to complete the designation will be asked to make their deposit and register for CWS®-I - Practice Management Skills at the conclusion of their NGU event.

Completion of the CWS® Program
.
Advisors who attend NGU will complete CWS®-I - Practice Management Skills. To complete the entire program, advisors are required to attend CWS®-II - Client Interaction Skills. For those who cannot attend the next NGU event, or want to complete the program earlier, Cannon offers open enrollment sessions throughout the year in various locations. The same subsidies extended to your NGU training also apply to the open enrollment sessions.
