Our Fixed Income Department can research products for you, provide inventory, obtain accurate markets, and execute trades on your behalf in a timely and efficient manner.
To provide the best possible execution prices, we separated the department into agency and online execution trading and block/institutional trading. The agency desk executes retail order flow for equities, options and mutual funds and oversees online trading products available to our advisors. The block/institutional trading desk provides specialized trading for larger orders (more than 5,000 shares).
We understand all fixed income products, which means you have at your fingertips a department that can research product, provide inventory, obtain accurate markets and execute your trades timely and efficiently. We trade a wide range of products: municipal bonds, corporate bonds, treasuries, agencies, CMOs, UITs, preferred securities, equity-linked notes, auction rate preferred securities, commercial paper, foreign debt and certificates of deposit.
In addition to executing trades, soliciting bids and offers, and providing available inventory, we conduct analytical work, portfolio analysis and available research. We maintain some inventory, but you will find it advantageous that we also offer you the street’s inventory. When you request a bid on a security, we will shop the street to provide you with an accurate quote. We will shop at least three dealers so you can get the best bid available.
